A very dramatic looking evergreen alpine with succulent rosettes of mid-green to red leaves that are cobwebbed with fine white hairs. Produces reddish pink flowers in summer. Grow in containers, dry stone walls or around paving.
Grow in full sun or partial shade in moderately fertile, well-drained soil. Plant in pots using quality potting compost with perlite or course horticultural grit to provide good drainage. A hardy plant that will survive normal winters but may need protection from the hardest frost.
