Pieris japonica 'Flaming Silver’

A super evergreen, variegated foliage plant! The new leaves emerge as a glossy pink/red and slowly change to green with silver margins. A mass of small white bell-shaped flowers appear in Spring.

Use in a mixed shrub border or in a peat or woodland garden. A great choice to grow alongside Camellias and Rhododendrons and can be grown in pots and containers to provide year-round interest. 


Grow in humus-rich, moist but well-drained, acid soil in full sun or semi-shade. Use ericaceous compost when planting in containers. Prune after flowering in late spring by lightly trimming back shoots to keep a good shape
