Lophomyrtus Magic Dragon

Lophomyrtus x ralphii ‘Magic Dragon’

Very attractive evergreen shrub with crinkly, brightly coloured foliage that would make a great feature plant in a large pot or in a sheltered border. The small pink/purple leaves also contrast well with other plain green foliage plants. The fluffy, white delicately scented flowers in Summer are followed by black berries loved by birds.

Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in a sheltered spot in partial shade. Hardy in mild areas of UK (-5 to1), so may need winter protection.
