Switch Ivy
Excellent compact evergreen shrub with attractive long lasting bright bronze red shoots from early Spring. Large glossy mature leaves are tinged with deep plum-red shades and small white flowers appear in Spring.
Suitable for a sheltered semi or lightly shaded border in moist, organic rich, acid soil. Can also be grown in pots or containers using an ericaceous compost. Apply a slow-release fertiliser and water regularly until established. Fully hardy, but would benefit from an acid rich mulch in Winter.
