Aeonium Velour
Velour the French word for velvet describes this Aeonium beautifully! A stunning succulent with a lovely soft texture and sheen to its tapered deep maroon-black leaves. It produces large bold rosettes on upright branching stems, is relatively fast growing and an ideal choice for beginners as it is easy to grow. A great gift idea as it is a very attractive specimen when reaching maturity!
Grow in full sun in moderately fertile, well-drained soil. In warmer climates grow in a gravel or well-drained rock garden. In frost prone areas grow as a houseplant or in a glasshouse or conservatory. They make ideal container plants that can be moved inside to protect from frost during the winter months.
