Phormium tenax 'Bronze Baby' (New Zealand Flax)

'Bronze Baby' is a dwarf hybrid of phormium tenax.

Stunning, evergreen perennial that produce clumps of sword-like, bronze, robust leaves in an upright habit. The outer leaves relax into an arching form. Abundant, small, tubular flowers are produced on erect, leafless stems in summer.

They provide a focal point in a border, by a building, or at the edge of a lawn. They are also suitable for coastal gardens. As 'Bronze Baby' is a dwarf variety they are particularly suitable for large containers.

Divide clumps in spring.
