Grasses - Carex Evergold

Clump-forming, rhizomatous grass with dark green leaves and a creamy-yellow stripe running down the centre. In early to late spring they bear a brown flower spike.

They form a low mound and are ideal in the front of a border or woven through other grasses and perennials for a contrasting, natural effect. They are also suitable containers.

They like a moist but well-drained fertile soil in partial shade or sun.

Divide clumps in the mid spring or early summer after flowering.
