Fig Tree - Ficus carica 'Brown Turkey'

A deciduous tree or large shrub with attractive large 5-lobed, bright green leaves. Pear-shaped receptacles develop in to single fruits.

They grow and look particularly good grown as a speciman tree in a courtyard, or sheltered situation.

Grow in humus-rich, moist, well drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Shelter from cold, drying winds.

In late winter or early spring cut back misplaced or crossing shoots to maintain ahealthy and neat framework.
