Crinodendron hookerianum - Lantern Tree

Stiffly branched, upright shoots bear narrow, dark green leaves. Scarlet to deep carmine -pink flowers appear from late spring to late summer.

Grow in fertile, moist, but well drained acidic soil. Shelter from cold, drying winds.

The removal of misplaced or crossing shoots after flowering will help maintain a healthy and neat framework.
