Ceanothus repens - California Lilac

Stunning, evergreen shrubs, Ceanothus is grown for its abundant display of blue flowers and dark green glossy leaves. Repens is a low growing and spreading form, making it ideal for ground cover. The leaves are small, as are the pale blue flowers - approx 4cms in length.

    Suitable for the front of shrub borders, mixed borders or a large rock garden. Shelter from cold, drying winds.

After flowering prune back any shoots that spoil the symmetry of the plant. Dead head accordingly.
