Camellias have been a favourite of British gardeners for generations. Their waxy, colour-packed blooms and dark, glossy, evergreen leaves provide a pronounced beauty in any garden. 'Desire' a peony flower type is noted for it's beautiful soft white-pink flowers.

Beautiful, large double, pale pink blooms. Paler centres that blush to a deeper pink at the outer edges. Early to mid Spring flowering.

Camellias are popular for their bold, glossy foliage and abundance of coloured, spring flowers.

They grow well in open ground or containers.

Use ericaceous compost and position the root ball level with the soil when planting.

Prune after flowering in late spring. Either lightly for a larger, relaxed shape, or hard for a smaller, compact form.
