A lovely dense evergreen, shrub with dark glossy leaves and small white very fragrant flowers in late winter. The rich ruby coloured stems form a compact shrub with a bushy growth habit.

It is easy to grow, low maintenance and thrives in shady areas that can be tricky to plant! It is an ideal choice to plant at the front of a shrub border (preferably near to a path so you can enjoy the perfume in winter), underplanting taller growing shrubs or in pots to provide structure and year-round interest in the garden.
